How to download the Zoom Workspace app (mobile)

If your department manager has been notified that your team is soon transitioning to the Zoom Phone system, and you would like to have the Zoom Workspace app on your personal mobile device to make/receive work calls (in lieu of using your desk phone), the IT team shares the following steps to download the Zoom Workspace app onto your mobile phone:

Android

Tap the Google Play icon on your phone: play.google.com
At the bottom of your screen, tap Apps.
In the top-right corner, tap the Search icon.
In the search bar, enter Zoom.
Once your search results appear, tap Zoom Workplace.
Tap Install.
Tap Accept to confirm the installation. Zoom will start to download on your Android device. Note: When the Zoom mobile app finishes the installation, the Zoom app icon will appear on your Home screen.
After you finish downloading the Zoom mobile app, you can access and begin using Zoom by the following methods:
- If you stayed on Zoom’s Google Play page, tap Open.
- If you exited Google Play, tap the Zoom mobile app icon on your Home screen.

iOS/Apple

Tap the App Store icon. App Store - Apple
In the bottom-right corner, tap Search.
In the search bar, enter Zoom.
Once your search results appear, tap Zoom Workplace.
Tap GET. Zoom will start to download on your iOS device. Note: When the Zoom mobile app finishes the installation, the Zoom app icon will appear on your Home screen.
After you finish downloading the Zoom mobile app, you can access and begin using Zoom by the following methods:
- If you stayed on Zoom’s App Store page, tap OPEN.
- If you exited the App Store, tap the Zoom mobile app icon on your Home screen.
