Lawson E-REQ – Status
Inquiring on a Specific Requisition
Key Status Terms
Unreleased: The requisition has been added, but has not been submitted
Needs Approval: The requisition is released, but needs management approval
Rejected: The requisition was released, needed approval, and was rejected in the approval process
Processed: The requisition is released and approved, and a Purchase Order (PO) has been issued
Closed: The requisition is processed and has been fulfilled (the Closed status is set by the Warehouse or Purchase Order application)
In Process: Not used
Requisition Center
Step 1. Choose Bookmarks, Requisition Center, Status
Step 2. Lawson will launch the Requisition Status screen with a list of all your requisitions

Tip: You can search by Requester, Requesting Location, Requisition, Creation Date
- You can change the number of records per page that show on your screen

Tip: You can search for Requisition Status by Unreleased, Needs Approval, Rejected, Processed, Closed, In Process
- Check a specific box to narrow the reach
Step 3. Status shows the Purchase Order status
- Will not provide the status of the order such as received, back ordered, recalled, in transit
- For order status, contact your buyer
- Will not provide an update on the quantity processed
Step 4. Choose Req Line Info for detail about individual requisition lines, and to see filled and “killed” amounts

Reminder: Fill or “Kill” policy

Items ordered in excess of available will be “killed”

You will not be notified by email

Check order status to get the quantity that was “killed”

You will need to order the killed amount when stock becomes available
How to follow-up “killed” stock
- Wait a day and try again, or
- Open CapitaLink home page
- See Alerts
- Click Supply Issues for a full list of Stock Outs
- When the product is dropped from the Stock Outs list, you can try again
Step 5. Export to Excel. Use this feature to bring all requisitions into Excel if you need to sort or analyze
- Click Export to Excel
- A dialog box will open

- Click Open File. Excel will launch and open a CSV document with a message to save the file in an Excel format
- Choose Save As
- Enter a File name
- Choose More Options to find the folder where you want to save your file
- Choose Save
